The focus of today’s thought is Proverbs 27. Solomon’s advice is that wise relationships are rooted in our relationship with God.

Proverbs chapter 20 addresses stability in family and in the community. Without stability family life is filled with chaos and communities become jungles.

Psalm 60:12 says, “Through God we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries.”

Psalm 46 is a hymn of praise. Hezekiah, Isaiah, or an unknown poet of Judah could have written this but chiefly what we should remember is this: in the face of earth-shaking circumstances, we will not fear because God oversees everything.
